What most people don't understand is that the car makers make very many or any of parts for their cars - they are made by outside manufacturers Bosch, Hitachi, etc, which brings me to OEM. This is a new old stock discontinued OE Original Equipment Mopar Limited badge nameplate, part number 5156023AA. It turned out the Mercedes specs for O2 sensors are so small, that an OEM could not get within those and would set a check engine light on car. As an example, we had a customer with Mercedes who didn't want to spend the money for factory O2 sensor so bought Bosch OEM and put it on got another check engine light.

What this shows is just because it says or is OEM does not mean good enough to compare OE, so decide for yourself if OE worth the extra price. OEM is Original Equipment Manufacturer - these are the companies who make parts for car manufacturers, problem specification an part may not even be close to OE.
